My name is Ashley! I am a young Entrepreneur, as well as the Owner, and Founder of Bag by Dé Ashléy™. I started drawing my own clothing designs at the age of 9, my idea was to one day own a business and have my designer clothing brought to life!

One Christmas my parents found a used sewing machine on Facebook Marketplace which a seller was giving away, the funny part is, it sat in my closet for several years. After years of sitting there, my dad said "if you want to be a fashion designer why don't you try sewing the clothes you design." After, some much-needed time and encouragement I started to search youtube on how to use my sewing machine.

As a homeschool family, my mom decided to incorporate our passions into her learning techniques. My sister (Owner of Brownie By Bree) and I, used these techniques to start our businesses and learn at the same time! That's when Dé Ashléy Designs (Now Bag by Dé Ashléy) was firstborn.

Later on, thanks to videos, sewing classes, and people in my life. I advanced my sewing skills. After learning the basics, I would make little wristlets out of simple cotton fabrics along with drawstring pouches and even tote bags too! After many years of practice and more practice I was able to elevate my skills to a place where I am today.

I guess some would say "I have a passion for purses"!
